A nickname is a human-readable name for your wallet address. Instead of sharing 7xKXtg2CW87d97..., you can share @alice.

Yes. SOLink uses end-to-end encryption (E2E) with NaCl cryptography (XSalsa20-Poly1305). This means:
No, never. Your private keys stay in your Phantom wallet and never leave your device. We only see your public wallet address.
We only store encrypted ciphertext — we can't read your messages.
